Mr. Anthony Wayne Joyner

Anthony Wayne Joyner, 78 of Millen passed early Monday morning, March 21, 2022 at his residence. He was a native of Jenkins County and early on he restored furniture which led to his own painting business. He was an avid fisherman and always enjoyed time spent with his fishing partner, Tommy Chance. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonzie Brantley, Sr. and Mary Dailey Joyner; siblings Joseph Johnson Joyner, Harry Joyner, Lonzie B. Joyner, Jr., James P. Joyner, Bernice Lariscy, and Jane J. Sikes. Survivors include his son, Gregory Mikell Joyner; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley J. and Thomas Taylor, and a faithful nephew, Harry Joyner. The family will hold a celebration of life at the Scarboro Baptist Church on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11:00am with Rev. Perry Hearn officiating. A private interment will be held at the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may sign the online register book at www.joineranderson.com.
