Mr. John "Moses" Carmon Jr.

June 8, 1952 - May 12, 2022

Mr. John Carmon, Jr., “Moses”, age 69, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his resident surrounded by family. He was born to the late John and Matilda Carmon at Somerset Hospital in Somerville, New Jersey. He served in the Army National Guard working on tanks as a wheel and track mechanic. He also worked on charter busses and drove semi-trucks until becoming disabled in the earl 2000s. John helped his friends at Precision Engine 2 and Frank’s Paint Shop to keep busy. John enjoyed anything to do with classic cars, motors, or drag racing. He also loved fishing to enjoy the peace and quiet. John had a big heart and an even bigger appetite. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Matilda Cajkouski Carmon of Sylvania, GA, and a sister, Olivia Buchko of Missouri. Memories to be carried on by his wife, Renee Carmon of Sylvania, son, John Carmon III of Converse, TX, son and daughter-in-law, Joey (Christina) Carmon of Statesboro, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Michelle (Bobby “Bonz”) Klinger of Seguin, TX, Denise (Tony) Palmisano of Jackson, NJ, sister, Linda Carlson of Willow Springs, NC, sister and brother-in-law, Patty (Jeff “Free Bird”) Davis, of Newport, TN, grandchildren; Zack, Lexy, Anthony, and Domonic, and expecting granddaughter Allison, an uncle, Al Carmon of Asheville, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends. The family will have a memorial service at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church in Oliver, GA, at 12:30pm on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Friends may sign the online register book at www.joineranderson.com.
