Mrs. Linda K. Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Linda K. Taylor, 74, passed at her residence early Wednesday morning, March 23, 2022. She was born in Cincinnatti, OH to John Marshall and Mamie Ruth Pollard Kennedy and was raised in North Carolina. After graduation from high school, she met her husband, John P. Taylor and they began their family while residing in Matthews, NC. In 1974, they moved to Screven County and resided at Mouth of the Creek. She was of the Southern Baptist faith and prior to retirement had been employed with Torrington Company, Attorney Harold Hollingsworth, lastly with the Zoning Department of Screven County. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her flowers, fishing with her husband at their river house, and loved remodeling her home, where she cherished time spent with her grands and great-grands. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Marsha Jean Griner. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Taylor of 52 years; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri Ferguson, Traci and Tim Bostick, and Vicki and Randy Reddick, grandchildren, Nicki Ferguson, Johnathan Mingledorff, Rusty Reddick, and Trent Reddick; great-grandchildren, Jaiden Lee, Evynn Lee, Averie Lee, Colton Ferguson, Mallory Cunningham, Sophia Skelly, Liam Bartles, and John David Mingledorff; sisters, Nancy Clayton and Sandra Williams, and a special cousin who was like a sister, Brenda Shipe. The family will receive friends at the Joiner Anderson Funeral Home Screven Chapel on Thursday evening, March 24, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
