Tommie M. Taylor (Miller) Tommie was born on September 30st, 1936 in Statesboro, Georgia and passed away on October 19th, 2021, ironically in the same room she was born. She lived a full life and carried laughter wherever she went. A loving homemaker who had a zest for life. She was an avid reader and loved so many things, including crocheting, the outdoors, fishing, John Denver, history, art, NASCAR (mostly Jeff Gordan), animals, roses, her kids, and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Taylor, her parents Earnest and Lottie Miller, and one grandson Joseph Boykin of Statesboro, Georgia. She’s survived by four children: her daughter Jackie (David) Boykin, James (Shawn) Taylor, and Jennifer Taylor of Statesboro, Georgia, her daughter Joyce (Ricky) Blackburn of Cartersville, Georgia, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
